The Harvest of Qurbani Campaign 2026: How Your Trust Became a Lifeline in Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan

Following the blessed days of Eid Al-Adha, we return to you today to share the impact and document the harvest of the trust you placed in our hands. Under the patronage of Sadaqah Fund, the Qurbani Campaign 2026 concluded with unprecedented field success across the most vulnerable regions in Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan, proving that your sacrifice was not just a passing ritual, but a true lifeline brought to the homes of the steadfast.

This Eid passed amidst severe humanitarian crises, with more than one million children facing the threat of famine and continuous malnutrition due to the lack of real protein for long months. From this reality, the campaign emerged to act as an immediate response, driven by strict standards of medical quality, digital integrity, and direct hand-to-hand delivery.

Figures of Grace: The Journey of Giving from 2024 to 2026

Our expertise in field operations is a sustainable journey that has grown through your continuous trust:

  • The Beginning (2024): We laid the foundation by providing 656 full sacrifices (500 goats and 156 cattle), alongside distributing 3,000 children’s Eid clothes and 1,140 Arafa day meals.

  • The Impact Leap (2025): We doubled the reach by executing 3,100 sacrifice shares (over 1,300 heads of livestock) and distributing 62,000 cooked, canned meat units, benefiting more than 25,000 vulnerable families.

  • The 2026 Season: We aimed to multiply this impact to secure urgent food response, transforming numbers into a pulse of hope on the ground.

Three Field Tracks: Overcoming Logistical Challenges

To ensure the delivery of your trust according to the highest health and Sharia standards, the campaign relied on 3 advanced logistical tracks tailored to each country’s situation:

1. The Gaza Strip Track (Innovative Professional Canning)

Given the harsh displacement conditions and the complete power outages in Gaza, we adopted a smart, sustainable track. The slaughtering, cooking, and preparation processes were carried out under strict medical standards within Egypt. The meat was then shipped into the Strip as ready-to-eat cooked canned meat (one-seventh of a calf provided 20-25 cans, while a full calf provided 150-170 cans, sustaining hundreds of families).

2. The Sudan Track (Fresh & Direct Distribution)

Despite the ongoing crisis and displacement, our field teams successfully sourced local cattle and sheep, conducting direct slaughtering inside shelters and stable states to distribute fresh meat portions immediately to afflicted families.

3. The Yemen Track (Isolated & Remote Villages)

Field teams in Yemen focused on sourcing local sheep and distributing fresh meat hand-to-hand to vulnerable families living in rugged mountainous terrains and remote villages that are traditionally cut off from standard aid distribution.

From Selection to Delivery: Five Stations of Integrity

Your sacrifice went through a rigorous logistical journey to ensure its safety and compliance:

  1. Logistical Preparation: Coordinating field operations and setting up execution teams across the three countries.

  2. Sharia & Veterinary Selection: Inspecting and reserving the finest livestock locally in Yemen and Sudan, and in Egypt for Gaza.

  3. Slaughtering & Preparation: Executing Sharia-compliant slaughtering, and launching the cooking and canning process for Gaza.

  4. Transport & Shipping: Moving convoys toward Gaza, and starting direct distribution in the villages and camps of Yemen and Sudan.

  5. Full Delivery: Handing over fresh and canned meat portions directly to beneficiary families with full digital documentation.
